On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, Israeli jet fighters bombed Syrian army and allied militias, including weapons depots, says the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Among the dead are nine soldiers of the Syrian government army and 31 fighters of militia, including supporters of the Lebanese radical Islamist group Hezbollah.
According to the military, about fifty targets were bombed in the past year.
