An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 hit the northwestern Duzce province of Turkiye.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 14 kilometres from Duzce in the Golyaka district, as per the countrys disaster management agency AFAD. As per the Trt world report, strong shocks were also felt in Istanbul city, the capital Ankara and near regions.
